Getting Started with the Agent Website Builder
The AGENTVIEW Agent Website Builder gives you one central location to manage your Agent Website.
The builder is organized into easy-to-use sections that allow you to control your website design, homepage, professional information, testimonials, property search, featured properties, and website visitor activity.
You do not need coding or website-development experience. Each section of the builder focuses on a specific part of your website, allowing you to make changes as your business grows.
Both Basic and Agent Website Pro members use the same Website Builder. Some advanced options are available only with Agent Website Pro and will be identified as Pro features within the builder.
Accessing the Agent Website Builder
To open the Website Builder:
- Log in to your AGENTVIEW account.
- From the navigation menu, locate My Agent Website.
- Select My Agent Website to open the Agent Website Builder.
Once inside the builder, use the tabs across the top of the page to move between the different areas of your website.
You can return to the builder at any time to make changes or update your website.
Understanding the Website Builder
The Website Builder is divided into seven main sections:
- Web Design
- Home Page
- About Page
- Testimonials
- Property Search
- Featured Listings
- User Accounts
Each section controls a different part of your Agent Website.
You will also find a Preview My Website button near the top of the builder. This allows you to open your public website and see how your changes appear to visitors.
Web Design
The Web Design section controls the overall appearance and presentation of your Agent Website.
This is where you establish the look and feel of your website and determine how your website represents your personal real estate brand.
Basic accounts use the Classic Agent Website design.
Agent Website Pro expands the design tools with additional options, including:
- Additional website designs
- Website color schemes
- Font schemes
- Website menu ordering
- Additional layout controls
Pro features are clearly identified inside the builder. This allows Basic members to see which additional customization options are available without requiring a different Website Builder.
Your website design can be changed later, so you are not permanently locked into the choices you make during your initial setup.
Home Page
The Home Page section controls the main content visitors see when they first arrive at your website.
From this section, you can manage your website background and primary homepage messaging.
The builder allows you to choose a website background, including supported image or video options, and enter your:
- Main Title
- Main Subtitle
You can also control optional homepage sections such as Rates and your Office Map.
After making changes, select Save Homepage Settings to save your updates.
Your homepage is one of the first things prospective clients will see, so the information in this section should clearly communicate who you are, the market you serve, and the type of real estate assistance you provide.
About Page
The About Page section gives you a place to tell prospective clients more about you and your approach to real estate.
The About Page includes two primary content areas:
Mission Statement
Use this area to communicate your approach to helping clients, your values, and what clients can expect when working with you.
About Me Content
Use this area to provide more information about your professional background, experience, service area, or other information you would like prospective clients to know.
The content editors also allow you to format your information and include supported media or links.
Select Save About Page Settings after making changes.
Testimonials
The Testimonials section allows you to display feedback from clients you have worked with.
Testimonials provide prospective clients with another way to learn about the experience of working with you.
The builder provides individual areas where you can enter client testimonials. Short, specific testimonials often work best because visitors can quickly understand the client's experience.
After adding or updating your testimonials, select Save Testimonials.
You can return to this section later as you receive new client feedback.
Property Search
The Property Search section manages the property-search experience available through your Agent Website.
For Agent Website Pro members, this is also where you manage your integrated MLS connection.
With Agent Website Pro Integrated Property Search, website visitors can access MLS property information directly through your Agent Website. Default Agent websites, will have the option to add MLS search through your MLS IFrame link.
Once the appropriate MLS connection has been approved and activated, visitors can:
- Search available properties
- View property details
- Save properties
- Save searches
- Receive listing alerts
- Register for a website account
MLS approval is required before integrated property search can be activated.
If your MLS has not yet been connected, the Property Search section will display your current connection status and provide a Begin MLS Connection option.
A separate support guide will walk through the complete MLS connection and approval process.
Featured Listings
The Featured Listings section connects your Agent Website with property and Open House Landing Pages created in AGENTVIEW.
Featured listings, new listings, and Open House pages are created and managed through the Landing Pages area of AGENTVIEW.
These property pages can be used for:
- Property promotion
- Lead capture
- QR codes
- Email marketing
- Social media
- Your Agent Website
The Manage Landing Pages button provides quick access to the Landing Pages area.
Agent Website Pro also provides additional website display controls.
These controls allow you to choose which property pages appear on your website and which properties are promoted in your website's Featured Listings showcase.
You can also arrange the order in which properties are displayed.
After making changes, select Save Display Settings.
User Accounts
The User Accounts section is an Agent Website Pro feature that allows you to see registered website visitors and their property activity.
When a visitor creates an account through your Agent Website, their activity can become part of the information available to you inside AGENTVIEW.
The User Accounts area provides an overview of activity such as:
- Registered website users
- Saved properties
- Property views
- Information requests
- Showing requests
- Recent website activity
You can also select View Profile to access additional information about an individual website user.
This gives your Agent Website a much larger role in your real estate business. Instead of simply displaying information to visitors, your website can help you understand what prospective buyers are interested in and create opportunities for follow-up.

Basic and Pro Features in the Builder
Basic and Pro users work from the same Agent Website Builder.
You may notice a yellow Pro indicator or a message explaining that a particular feature requires Agent Website Pro.
This is normal.
Basic users can continue using the features included with their website while seeing the additional functionality that can be unlocked with Pro.
For example, the Web Design section shows the additional designs and customization controls available with Pro, while features such as integrated property search and User Accounts provide functionality specifically designed for Agent Website Pro.
Upgrading does not require you to create a new website. Your existing website remains in place, and the additional Pro capabilities become available within the same builder.
Previewing Your Website
As you customize your Agent Website, use the Preview My Website button located near the upper-right corner of the Website Builder.
Previewing your website allows you to see the site from a visitor's perspective.
It is a good idea to preview your website after making significant changes to areas such as your:
- Website design
- Homepage
- About Page
- Testimonials
- Property sections
This allows you to confirm that your content and design appear the way you intended.
Saving Your Changes
Each area of the Website Builder has its own settings and save controls.
After making changes, use the Save button available within that section before moving on.
For example:
- Save Menu Order
- Save Homepage Settings
- Save About Page Settings
- Save Testimonials
- Save Display Settings
Saving each section as you work helps ensure your changes are applied to your Agent Website.
Building Your Website One Section at a Time
You do not need to complete your entire website in one session.
A simple approach is to start with your Web Design, then work through your Home Page, About Page, and Testimonials.
From there, you can configure your property-related features and preview the completed website.
Your Agent Website is designed to grow with your real estate business. You can return to the builder at any time to update your information, change your design, add new testimonials, promote new properties, or take advantage of additional Pro features.
