Connecting Facebook & Instagram to AGENTVIEW

Training Resource • AGENTVIEW Support

The AGENTVIEW Social Media Scheduler allows you to connect your Facebook and Instagram accounts directly to AGENTVIEW using Meta’s official connection system.

Once connected, you can create, schedule, and publish social media content directly from inside AGENTVIEW.

This guide will walk you through the process of connecting your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account.

Before You Begin

Before connecting your accounts, make sure the following requirements are completed:

• You have a Facebook account
• You manage at least one Facebook Page
• Your Instagram account is set up as a Business or Creator account
• Your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook Page

Important:
Instagram personal accounts are not supported through Meta’s publishing system and cannot be connected to AGENTVIEW.

Step 1: Open Your Account Profile

To begin connecting your social media accounts:

• Log into AGENTVIEW
• Navigate to the left-hand side menu
• Click on Account Profile

Inside your Account Profile, scroll down until you locate the:

Social Media Connections

section.

Step 2: Click “Social Media Connections”

Inside the Social Media Connections section, click the:

Connect Meta Account

button.

This will redirect you to Meta’s secure authentication system where you will log into your Facebook account and authorize AGENTVIEW to access your connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts.

Step 3: Log Into Facebook

If you are not already logged into Facebook, Meta will ask you to sign into your account.

Important:
You must log into the Facebook account that manages the Facebook Page you want to connect to AGENTVIEW.

Step 4: Approve Meta Permissions

During the connection process, Meta will ask you to approve several permissions required for publishing social media content.

These permissions allow AGENTVIEW to:

• Access your Facebook Pages
• Access connected Instagram Business accounts
• Publish scheduled posts
• Publish images and videos
• Manage social media publishing workflows

AGENTVIEW only accesses accounts and Pages that you explicitly authorize during this process.

Step 5: Select Your Facebook Page

After authentication, Meta will display the Facebook Pages connected to your account.

Select the Facebook Page you want to use with AGENTVIEW.

Important:
Only Facebook Pages that you manage through your Facebook account will appear during this step.

Step 6: Connect Your Instagram Business Account

If your Instagram Business account is properly connected to your Facebook Page, it will automatically become available to AGENTVIEW after the Facebook Page connection is completed.

Important:
If your Instagram account does not appear, verify the following:

• Your Instagram account is set as a Business or Creator account
• Your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook Page
• You are logged into the correct Facebook account

Successfully Connected

Once the connection is completed successfully, your Facebook Page and Instagram Business account will appear inside the AGENTVIEW Social Media Connections section.

You can now:

• Create social media posts
• Upload images and videos
• Schedule future posts
• Publish content directly to Facebook and Instagram

Reconnecting Your Account

Meta connections may occasionally expire due to Facebook or Instagram session changes.

If your connection expires, AGENTVIEW may ask you to reconnect your account.

To reconnect:

• Return to the Account Profile page
• Scroll to Social Media Connections
• Click the reconnect button
• Complete the Meta authentication process again

Reconnecting your account restores publishing access and allows AGENTVIEW to continue publishing scheduled posts.

Disconnecting Your Account

If you no longer want AGENTVIEW connected to your Facebook or Instagram account, you can disconnect the integration from inside the Social Media Connections section.

Disconnecting your account will:

• Stop future scheduled posts from publishing
• Remove active publishing permissions
• Disable Facebook and Instagram posting inside AGENTVIEW

Previously published posts will remain on your social media accounts.

Common Connection Issues

Instagram Account Not Appearing

If your Instagram account does not appear during setup:

• Verify your Instagram account is a Business or Creator account
• Confirm it is connected to your Facebook Page
• Make sure you selected the correct Facebook Page during setup

Facebook Page Missing

If your Facebook Page does not appear:

• Verify you are a Page admin or manager
• Confirm you are logged into the correct Facebook account
• Check your Facebook Business settings

Connection Expired

If AGENTVIEW can no longer publish posts:

• Reconnect your Meta account
• Verify your Facebook and Instagram sessions are still active

Things to Keep in Mind

• Facebook and Instagram connections are managed through Meta
• AGENTVIEW uses Meta’s official APIs for publishing content
• Instagram requires an image or video attachment for publishing
• Video uploads may take longer to process depending on file size
• Scheduled posts can be edited or deleted before publishing

Once connected, the AGENTVIEW Social Media Scheduler helps streamline your social media marketing while keeping your lead generation and CRM workflows connected inside one platform.
