Creating & Scheduling Social Media Posts

Once your Facebook and Instagram accounts are connected to AGENTVIEW, you can begin creating and scheduling social media posts directly from inside the platform.

The AGENTVIEW Social Media Scheduler allows you to organize your marketing content, schedule posts in advance, and publish directly to your connected Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts.

This guide will walk you through the process of creating, editing, and scheduling social media posts inside AGENTVIEW.


Step 1: Open the Social Scheduler

To begin creating a post:

• Log into AGENTVIEW
• Navigate to the Tools section
• Open the Social Scheduler

Inside the scheduler, you will see a calendar displaying your scheduled social media content.


Step 2: Create a New Post

To create a new scheduled post:

• Click on a date inside the calendar

This will open the Social Post creation window.


Step 3: Write Your Caption

Inside the post editor, enter the caption or marketing text you want to publish.

This may include:

• Listing descriptions
• Open house information
• Market updates
• Branding content
• Calls-to-action
• Emojis and hashtags

The scheduler includes built-in emoji shortcuts to help you quickly add commonly used real estate emojis to your posts.


Step 4: Upload Images or Videos

The scheduler supports both image and video uploads.

To upload media:

• Click the upload area inside the post editor
• Select an image or video from your device
• Wait for the upload preview to appear

Supported content types include:

• Property photos
• Real estate graphics
• Branding images
• Video walkthroughs
• Instagram Reels
• Promotional videos


Important Instagram Requirement

Instagram requires all published posts to contain an image or video attachment.

Meta does not allow third-party platforms to publish text-only Instagram posts.

If Instagram is selected while creating a post, make sure media has been uploaded before saving the post.


Step 5: Select Your Platforms

Inside the post editor, choose where you want the post to publish.

Available options may include:

• Facebook
• Instagram

You may select:

• Facebook only
• Instagram only
• Both Facebook and Instagram


Step 6: Select a Date & Time

Choose the date and time you want the post to publish.

The scheduler allows you to prepare content ahead of time so your marketing stays organized and consistent.

Important:

• Posts cannot be scheduled in the past
• Make sure the selected time is correct before saving
• Video posts may take longer to process depending on file size


Step 7: Save the Scheduled Post

Once your caption, media, and schedule are complete:

• Click the Save button

Your post will now appear inside the Social Scheduler calendar.

AGENTVIEW will automatically publish the content at the scheduled time.


Editing Scheduled Posts

Scheduled posts can be edited before they are published.

To edit a post:

• Open the Social Scheduler
• Click on the scheduled post inside the calendar
• Update the caption, media, platforms, or schedule
• Save your changes


Deleting Scheduled Posts

If you no longer want a post to publish:

• Open the scheduled post from the calendar
• Click the Delete button
• Confirm the deletion

Deleted scheduled posts will not publish to Facebook or Instagram.


Understanding Post Statuses

Posts inside the Social Scheduler may display different statuses depending on their publishing state.

Common statuses include:

• Scheduled
• Published
• Failed

These statuses help you monitor your publishing activity and identify posts that may require attention.



Automatic Lead Capture Links

When a post is published, AGENTVIEW can automatically append a lead capture link directly into the post caption.

When someone clicks the link:

• They are directed to a lead capture page
• They can submit their contact information
• A new contact is automatically created inside your CRM

This allows your social media marketing and lead follow-up workflow to remain connected inside AGENTVIEW.

To maintain reliable publishing performance and professional social media activity, we recommend the following best practices:

• Use high-quality images and videos
• Keep captions clear and easy to read
• Avoid excessive hashtags or repetitive posting
• Space posts naturally throughout the day
• Use strong calls-to-action when promoting listings or services
• Maintain consistent branding across your content

Following these guidelines helps create a better experience for your audience while improving the reliability of your scheduled posts.

• Facebook and Instagram publishing is managed through Meta
• Video uploads may require additional processing time
• Unsupported media formats may fail to publish
• Scheduled posts can be edited or deleted before publishing
