Customizing Your Agent Website Design
The Web Design section of the Agent Website Builder controls the overall appearance of your website.
This is where you decide how your website should look and feel to prospective clients. You can choose a website design that fits your business, select a color and font style, and control how visitors navigate through your website.
Basic and Agent Website Pro members use the same design area, but some advanced design controls are available only with Agent Website Pro.
Opening the Web Design Section
To access your website design settings:
- Log in to your AGENTVIEW account.
- Select My Agent Website from the navigation menu.
- Select the Agent Website Builder.
The Web Design page is divided into several areas that control different parts of your website's appearance.
Choosing Your Website Design
The Website Design section allows you to choose the overall layout and presentation of your Agent Website.
Your design affects the way your homepage, content, property information, testimonials, and other website sections are presented to visitors.
AGENTVIEW currently provides several website designs.
Classic Agent Website
The Classic Agent Website is the standard AGENTVIEW website design and is available with the Basic website.
It provides a clean, professional layout for displaying your:
- Homepage
- About information
- Property search
- Testimonials
- Resources
- Contact information
The Classic design is a good choice for agents who want a straightforward and familiar real estate website.
Modern Agent
Agent Website Pro
The Modern Agent design provides a cleaner, more contemporary presentation with stronger spacing, sharper section layouts, and a more polished overall appearance.
This design can work well for agents who want a modern professional website without creating an overly formal look.
Luxury Real Estate
Agent Website Pro
The Luxury Real Estate design is intended for agents who want a more premium visual presentation.
It places greater emphasis on elegant spacing, imagery, and a high-end client experience.
This can be a good choice for agents who work with luxury properties or who want their website to communicate a more elevated brand.
Neighborhood Expert
Agent Website Pro
The Neighborhood Expert design is built around an agent's local market knowledge.
It is designed to give greater emphasis to:
- Local expertise
- Buyer and seller resources
- Neighborhood-focused content
- Community information
- Trust-building sections
This design can work particularly well for agents who build their business around a specific city, neighborhood, or geographic market.
Listing Focused
Agent Website Pro
The Listing Focused design places more emphasis on your property-related content.
It is designed to highlight areas such as:
- Featured listings
- New listings
- Open houses
- Property search
- AGENTVIEW property Landing Pages
This can be a strong option for agents who want their available properties to play a larger role on their website.
Personal Brand
Agent Website Pro
The Personal Brand design places the agent at the center of the website experience.
It gives greater emphasis to your:
- Agent profile
- Professional story
- Testimonials
- Client relationships
- Personal brand
This design can be useful for agents whose business is built heavily around referrals, reputation, and personal connections.
Selecting a Website Design
To change your website design:
- Review the available designs.
- Locate the design you would like to use.
- Select Select Design.
- AGENTVIEW will apply the selected design to your Agent Website.
Your currently selected design is identified by the Current Design button and active indicator.
Important
Changing your website design changes the presentation of your website. It does not require you to recreate your existing homepage content, About information, testimonials, or other saved website information.
This allows you to experiment with different website styles as your branding changes.
Basic and Pro Design Access
Basic accounts use the Classic Agent Website design.
Additional website designs and advanced design controls are available with Agent Website Pro.
Inside the builder, Pro-only designs are identified with a Pro label.
This makes it easy to see which additional design options are available without requiring a separate Website Builder.
Choosing a Website Color Scheme
Your website's color scheme helps establish the overall visual personality of your brand.
The Website Color Scheme section allows Agent Website Pro members to choose from several professionally designed color combinations.
Available color schemes include:
AGENTVIEW Classic
A standard blue and accent-color style that provides a familiar, professional appearance.
Luxury Black
A darker, premium visual style designed to create a more sophisticated and high-end presentation.
Modern Green
A clean and fresh color combination that can create a more approachable and relationship-focused website.
Soft Neutral
A simple, calm, and professional color scheme designed for agents who prefer a more understated appearance.
Selecting a Color Scheme
To change your website color scheme:
- Review the available color options.
- Select the color scheme that best fits your brand.
- Select Select beneath the desired option.
Choosing the Right Colors
Try to choose a color scheme that works with your existing real estate branding.
Consider the colors used in your:
- Logo
- Business cards
- Marketing materials
- Social media branding
- Professional photography
Using a consistent visual style can make your overall brand feel more polished and recognizable.
Choosing a Website Font Scheme
Typography also has an important effect on how your website feels.
The Website Font Scheme section allows Agent Website Pro members to choose the general typography style used throughout the website.
Available font styles include:
Classic Sans
A clean and familiar typography style designed for a professional real estate website.
This is a versatile option that works well with most brands.
Elegant Serif
A more refined typography style suited for luxury, lifestyle, and premium real estate branding.
Modern Rounded
A softer and more modern typography style that can create a warmer and more approachable website.
Selecting a Font Scheme
To change your font style:
- Review the available font schemes.
- Select the style that best matches the personality of your website.
- Select Select beneath the desired font scheme.
The currently active style will display Current.
Customizing Your Website Menu
Your website menu determines how visitors move between the primary areas of your Agent Website.
Agent Website Pro includes Custom Menu Order, allowing you to control the order in which navigation links appear on your public website.
The website menu can include links such as:
- Home
- About
- Search Properties
- Featured Listings
- Mortgage
- Buyers
- Sellers
- Contact
The order shown in the Website Builder determines the order visitors see these links on your public website.
Changing the Menu Order
To change your navigation order:
- Locate the page you want to move.
- Use the available up or down controls to reposition the page.
- Continue arranging the pages until the navigation appears in your preferred order.
- Select Save Menu Order.
After saving, preview your website to confirm that the navigation appears in the order you intended.
Choosing a Menu Order That Makes Sense
There is no single menu order that works for every real estate agent.
Think about what you want visitors to do when they arrive at your website.
For example, an agent focused heavily on buyers may want Search Properties near the beginning of the navigation.
An agent actively promoting listings may want Featured Listings to appear more prominently.
An agent whose business is driven by referrals and personal relationships may want About near the beginning so visitors can quickly learn more about them.
The goal is to make the most important areas of your website easy for visitors to find.
Previewing Your Design Changes
After changing your website design, colors, fonts, or navigation, select Preview My Website near the upper-right corner of the Website Builder.
Use the preview to review:
- Overall website appearance
- Color combinations
- Typography
- Homepage presentation
- Navigation order
- Property sections
- About information
- Testimonials
It is also a good idea to view the website on a mobile device after making major design changes.
You Can Change Your Design Later
Your website design does not need to remain the same forever.
As your real estate business changes, you may decide that a different design, color scheme, or visual style better represents your brand.
You can return to the Web Design section at any time and make changes without rebuilding the rest of your Agent Website.
This makes it possible for your website to continue evolving along with your business.
Basic vs. Agent Website Pro
Basic members receive the Classic Agent Website and the standard AGENTVIEW website styling.
Agent Website Pro expands the Web Design area with additional options, including:
- Additional website designs
- Multiple color schemes
- Multiple font schemes
- Custom menu ordering
- Additional Pro design and layout controls
Pro-only options are identified directly inside the Website Builder.
Your existing website content remains in place if you upgrade from Basic to Pro.
